Lady Lion track team, coach honored by SE District


Three Washington Lady Blue Lion track athletes and their coach attended the Southeastern District Track Awards banquet Monday, June 6, 2016. The ladies were honored as First Team, All-District in the 4 x 1, 4 x 2 and 4 x 400-meter relays, as well as Alexis Gray in the 400-meter dash. Student-athletes recognized from Washington were: Maddy Garrison, Gray, Megan Mullins, Haley Petitt, Holly Inskeep and Maria Wilson. And from Miami Trace, District shot put champion Katie Seyfang was recognized. Washington head coach Louis Reid was named Division II Girls Coach of the Year from the Southeast District.
