First State Bank, Downtown Photo post WCH LL wins

First State Bank and Downtown Photo recorded victories in the Washington C.H. Little League’s Major Division Thursday evening.

First State Bank defeated Eagles, 3-0, with Kylan Howard getting the win on the mound.

At the plate for First State Bank, Dillon Hyer smacked a home run and a double.

Cody Brown also hit a double for First State Bank.

Dylan Grove and Wesley May were the pitchers for Eagles.

Mason Coffman also pitched for First State Bank.

In the second game of the evening on the Major Division diamond, Downtown Photo took on Mopars and came away with a 10-1 victory.

Gabe Campagna was the winning pitcher for Downtown Photo.

Offensively for Downtown Photo, Karson Runk hit a triple and Cal Wightman had a double.

Raleigh Haithcock hit a double for Mopars.

Karson Runk and Brady Armstrong also pitched for Downtown Photo.

Raleigh Haithcock and Brenton Dawes were the pitchers for Mopars.

In Minor Division play Thursday, Elks beat Merchant’s Bank, 24-5.

Offensively for the Elks, Landon St. Clair hit a pair of home runs and a double; Trey Robinette hit a home run; Bryson Heath drilled two home runs; Andrew Young hit a home run and a double and Jake Bashor hit a double and a triple.

Offensively for Merchant’s Bank, Jakob Hoosier hit a triple.

On Wednesday, June 15, there were three games played in the Minor Division.

Legal Beagles defeated Quali-Tee, 12-7; Elks topped Jr. Firemen, 20-2 and Quali-Tee beat Merchant’s Bank, 10-4.

In that game, Lafe Coleman hit a home run and a triple for Quali-Tee.

On Tuesday, June 14, it was a twin bill of action in the Major Division as McDonald’s took on Super Sport and First State Bank played Eagles.

McDonald’s defeated Super Sport, 16-3 in five innings.

Calum Brown was the winning pitcher for McDonald’s.

At the plate, Jonah Waters hit a triple for McDonald’s.

Luke Crabtree also pitched for McDonald’s.

Pitchers for Super Sport were Tanner Lemaster, Bryce Yeazel, Cole Little and Zach Warnock.

Weston Melvin was the winning pitcher for First State Bank.
