WCH All-Stars drill Fairborn, 28-4

The Washington C.H. 10-year-old all-stars roundly defeated Fairborn in the District Eight District semifinals Saturday, July 18, 28-4.

Washington C.H. collected 25 hits in the game.

Tanner Lemaster went 5 for 5 for Washington C.H. He hit a three-run home run, two doubles, scored three runs and drove in eight runs.

Tate Landrum went 3 for 3 with one rbi and three runs scored.

Brayden Kettles went 4 for 5 with two doubles, one rbi and four runs scored.

Tyler Tackage went 4 for 5 with three runs scored and three rbi.

A.J. Dallmayer went 3 for 4 with a double, a triple, four rbi and three runs scored.

Washington C.H. sent 12 batters to the plate in the first inning, scoring seven runs. Lemaster hit a three-run home run in this inning.

Fairborn responded with four runs in the bottom of the first on two hits.

Washington C.H. sent 11 batters to the plate in the second inning, scoring seven runs on five hits.

Washington C.H. sent 13 batters to the plate in the third inning, scoring eight runs on four hits.

In the fourth inning, Washington C.H. sent 12 batters to the plate, scoring six runs on seven hits.

Tanner Lemaster started for Washington C.H. on the mound. He pitched two-thirds of an inning, allowing four runs on two hits. He walked one batter and struck out one.

A.J. Dallmayer came in to pitch the final 3.1 innings for Washington C.H.

He struck out eight, walked two, did not allow a hit or a run and hit one batter.

Washington C.H. began the District championship game on Sunday against Enon.

Washington C.H. was leading 5-1 while still batting in the bottom of the second inning.

Already in a lightning delay, the rains came pouring down, causing the game to be postponed.

It will be resumed at home Wednesday at 6 p.m.
