The Miami Trace boys golf team improved to 3-1 in the SCOL with a 182 to 214 win over Hillsboro in a match played Thursday, Aug. 11 at the Club at Quail Run.

Miami Trace’s Tyler Eggleton and Hillsboro’s Anthony Ventura shared medalist honors, each with a 44.

Mitchell Creamer shot a 45 for Miami Trace.

Hayden Walters had a 46, Jacob Batson had a 47 and Ashton Cox a 48 for the Panthers.

Dakota Merritt shot a 69 for Miami Trace.

Other scores for Hillsboro: Cameron Green, 47; Will Keifer, 57; Gabe Adkins, 66 and Hayden Miller, 69.

Miami Trace will have a quad match at home on Tuesday, Aug. 23 with Washington, Wilmington and McClain at 4:30 p.m.
