The Miami Trace girls golf team improved to 2-2 on the season with a one-stroke victory over the visiting Astros of East Clinton in an SCOL match Wednesday, Aug. 24 at the Club at Quail Run.

The Lady Panthers had a team score of 254 to 255 for East Clinton.

Hannah Stern of East Clinton was medalist with a 57.

Macey Stires led Miami Trace with a 62.

Lindsey Worley, Tori Riley and Shelbie Rowan each recorded scores of 64.

Makayla Eggleton shot a 68 and Morgan Eggleton had a 71.

Other scores for East Clinton were: Katelyn Boysel, 60; Egypt Suiter, 69; Hailie Rhinehiemer, 69; Cortlynnn Cubbage, 70.

Miami Trace will host Clinton-Massie Wednesday at the Club at Quail Run at 4:30 p.m.
