The Washington Blue Lion golf team hosted the Unioto Shermans Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Club at Quail Run.

Unioto won this non-league match, 169 to 174.

“We showed improvement for the second straight match,” Washington coach Shannon Bartruff said. “I’m proud of my guys.”

Kyler Mount led the Blue Lions with a score of 40.

He shared medalist honors with Ty Schobelock and Cole Karr of the Shermans.

Griffin Shaw shot a 41 and Tyler Rood had a score of 46.

Gabe Arazo followed with a 47 and Brock Morris had a 55.

The Blue Lions will host Grandview Heights Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 4 p.m.
