Miami Trace golf beats Cavs

CHILLICOTHE — The Miami Trace boys golf team visited Chillicothe to take on the Cavaliers in an SCOL match Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Miami Trace won the match, 169 to 208.

Mitchell Creamer and Tyler Eggleton shared medalist honors, both with a score of 37.

Creamer has now shot even par over his last 27 holes.

The 37 was a personal best for Eggleton.

Cameron Carter shot a 47 for Miami Trace, Hayden Walters shot a 48 and Jacob Batson and Ashton Cox each shot 49.

It was the second time this season the Panthers shot in the 160s against Chillicothe.

For the Cavaliers, Nick Haller was low with a 47.

Also for Chillicothe: Danile Haller, 52; Joe Mihelich, 54; Eric Corey, 55; Karie Jones, 68.

Miami Trace’s next match is Thursday, Sept. 15 at the Club at Quail Run at 4 p.m. against Clinton-Massie.
