The Miami Trace Youth Football Program third grade White team defeated Miamisburg White Saturday, 7-0 with an excellent performance by the entire team.
This young team is now 3-2 overall in the WOJFC in which they are playing major Division 1 schools and established football programs.
Each week facing the best competition in the area, these boys are improving each day not only in football, but in teamwork, character, and becoming bright young men of our community, according to a spokesperson for the program.
For this week No. 6 of the season, this team captured both players of the week for the entire program. Defensive Player of the Week was awarded to Austin Brown and Defensive Player of the Week was awarded to Cam Morton.
