A Washington C.H. man was sentenced to four years in prison for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Jeremy J. Williams, 28, was sentenced Monday after he pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor as part of a plea deal reached with prosecutors in the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas.
Williams was originally indicted in April by a Fayette County grand jury on three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor stemming from an incident that occurred on or about March 21 that involved three separate acts, according to court records.
“You stepped way over the boundary in this case. I suggest you take a long look at your life,” said Judge Steven Beathard.
As part of the sentencing, Williams is required to register as a Tier II sex offender and complete five years of mandatory post-release control.
As a Tier II sex offender Williams must register with the Fayette County Sheriff every 180 days for a period of 25 years, or with the sheriff in whichever county he resides. Williams is also required to report and register any change of address, place of employment, or school enrollment.
Williams was credited with 56 days jail time credit for the time served in the Fayette County Jail.
