The Miami Trace Lady Panthers varsity volleyball team recorded its first 3-0 win of the season Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Miami Trace hosted the Indians from Hillsboro and came away with the victory, 25-14, 25-17 and 25-23.
For Miami Trace, Samantha Ritenour had 10 kills.
Kennedy Campbell had six kills.
Ashley Campbell had six ace serves.
“We are becoming more comfortable with our rotation,” Miami Trace head coach Doug Mace said. “We had less mental break downs with our defense this match.”
Miami Trace will be back in action today at Clinton-Massie. The j-v play at 5:30 p.m., followed 20 minutes later by the varsity.
Miami Trace’s j-v volleyball team defeated Hillsboro Tuesday, 2-1.
Scores of the sets were: 25-27, 25-15 and 25-6.
