CHILLICOTHE — The Miami Trace Lady Panthers’ soccer season came to an end Saturday, Oct. 21 in the Sectional finals against Chillicothe.
The Lady Cavaliers won the match, 7-1.
The score was 3-1 at the half with Becca Ratliff scoring from a direct kick for Miami Trace.
In goal for the Lady Panthers, Aubrey Schwartz had 16 saves.
Miami Trace ends the 2017 season with a record of 6-12.
They recently won the program’s first-ever tournament game, 1-0 over Hillsboro.
In other Division II Sectional final matches Saturday, Fairfield Union beat Warren, 3-0 and Unioto defeated Circleville, 4-1. Those winners play Thursday at 5 p.m. at Logan High School in the District semifinals.
Jackson defeated Waverly, 3-2 in overtime to advance to take on Chillicothe Thursday at 7 p.m. at LHS.
The District championship match is Saturday at noon at LHS.
