According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:
July 9
Receiving Stolen Property: At 7:10 p.m., officers located a vehicle that had been reported stolen. While investigating the offense, contact was made with a male who admitted being in possession of the vehicle. Charges were filed.
Assault: At 7:27 p.m., officers responded to East Paint Street in reference to an assault. After speaking with the victim, charges have been prepared for the offender.
July 4
Criminal Damaging: At 9:02 p.m., officers responded to 918 S. Fayette St. in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. Contact was made with the witness, who advised that juveniles were breaking windows at a neighboring residence. A report was completed.
