A fire that destroyed a vacant home on Pleasant View Road in Jefferson Township Thursday morning is under investigation by the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office. At approximately 5:41 a.m. Thursday, multiple emergency responders were dispatched to 15561 Pleasant View Road on the report of a structure fire. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities. First responders included: Jefferson Township Fire & EMS, Washington Court House Fire & Rescue, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Silvercreek Township Fire & EMS, Cedarville Township Fire & EMS, New Jasper Fire & EMS, Stokes Township Fire Department, and Range Township Fire Department.
