WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — The City of Washington Court House will be closing the following streets this week for the Scarecrow Festival: Court Street from Hinde Street to North Street, North Main Street will be closed from Market Street to Court Street, South Main Street will be closed from Market Street to East Street.
South Main Street will continue to be closed in the area from East Street in the area of the Center of Economic Building and parking lot area. North Fayette Street will be closed from Market Street to Court Street, and South Fayette Street will be closed from Court Street to City Municipal Lot 1. All alleys in the vicinity of road closures will be closed.
Road closures will begin on Wednesday at 11 p.m. and will reopen on Sunday after the close of the Scarecrow Festival.
Please have all vehicles removed within the announced areas before this time. Any vehicles remaining will be towed by the Washington Court House Police Department at owner’s expense.
The City Municipal Lot on the corner of East and South Main Street will be closed from 11 p.m. on Wednesday through Sunday after the festival.
