This was a big win for the Blue Lion boys as they can now tie for first in the Frontier Athletic Conference with Hillsboro if they win out. This match was important to not just the kids but head coach Buckie Caulley as well, as it’s the first time since 2017 that the Blue Lions have defeated Miami Trace during a league match. This was coach Caulley’s first career win against the Panthers.

The team has fought very hard to be where they are right now, and they look to tie for first place in the FAC as they keep battling their way through the conference,

Washington’s next match is against Chillicothe at home on Thursday. Jan. 18.
