Carnegie Library offers crochet classes

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — Twins Lily and Alivia Dawson learned to crochet by attending the crochet classes offered at the Carnegie Public Library. The girls have been practicing and are already making blankets.

On Saturday, Lily and Alivia brought their friend Kenna Baker to learn the basics to get started. Adult classes are on the third Saturday of the month and the children’s class is offered on the second Saturday of the month.

Kimberly Donaldson came to learn the basic single crochet stitch. Rose Juliano attended to learn the ripple stitch.

The Dawson twins attend Washington High School, Baker attends Miami Trace, Donaldson is from Orient, and Juliano is from Washington Court House.

The class offers beginners a chance to learn the basics, and more seasoned crocheters can either learn something new or just bring a project to work on and socialize with other crafters.
