According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

July 28

Theft: At 1:02 p.m., an employee of the Shell gas station on West Court Street reported the theft of cannabis from the store. A report for theft was completed.

Theft: At 3:13 p.m., a North North Street female was arrested at Walmart after shoplifting items.

July 27

Curfew/Underage Possession of Alcohol: At 1:29 a.m. while on patrol, an officer observed a juvenile violating city curfew. While the officer was contacting the juvenile, a can of alcohol was observed on his person. A 17-year-old was arrested and charged with curfew violation and underage possession of alcohol.

Drug Paraphernalia: At 4:33 a.m. while on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle. During the stop, the driver was found to not have a valid license. The vehicle was towed, and during an inventory drug paraphernalia was located. Michael Reed was charged with driving without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Trespassing/Disorderly Conduct: At 4:54 p.m., police were called to 121 W. Market St. in reference to an unwanted person. Officers arrived and spoke with all parties involved. Subsequently, Kyle Bass was arrested for disorderly conduct.

July 26

Criminal Damaging: At 10:34 a.m., Jason Butler reported that sometime overnight, damage was caused to the siding on his garage. A report was taken.
