According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 2

Interference with Custody: At 1:45 a.m., the Washington C.H. Police Department was contacted by the Grove City Police Department in reference the interference of custody of a juvenile. The information was given to the patrol officers of the vehicle involved. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a stop. During the stop, the driver was ordered from the vehicle and refused to do so. The driver was removed from the vehicle and detained. The driver refused to get into a cruiser to be transported to jail. The driver had to be forcibly placed into the cruiser. Kimberly Reichenbach was arrested and charged with interference of custody, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

Criminal Damaging: At 10:27 p.m., a woman reported that sometime overnight someone threw a brick into the windshield of her vehicle.

July 30

Violation of Protection Order: At 8:01 p.m. while on patrol, an officer was investigating a large amount of smoke in the 500 block of Gibbs Avenue. The officer found the source of the smoke and began to contact a male subject who was with the fire. The male ran from the officer and was later found located hiding nearby. It was found that the male had a protection order against him and he is prohibited from being at the victim’s residence, which was the house the officer observed him at. Richard Rickman was arrested and charged with violating a protection order.
