Trailer fire under investigation

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — The State Fire Marshal was called to investigate a trailer fire at Tower Mobile Home Park, 678 Robinson Road, Lot 14, that occurred overnight Sunday.

The Washington Fire Department responded to a fire call regarding a trailer on fire at 1:27 a.m Sunday morning. The trailer was fully engulfed and the department called in the Wayne Township Fire and Bloomingburg Fire with engine and manpower to assist.

The Concord Green Fire Department was called to man the Washington FD station. Due to the number of firemen on the scene, Fayette County Box 65 was called to the scene to provide assistance as a cooling station and water refreshment.

The fire was brought under control at 2:08 a.m. The firemen located the occupants and there were no injuries reported. Water, gas and electric services were requested to the scene to secure the utilities.

Lot 13 next door suffered heat damage to its trailer structure, according to Capt. Casey Coil.

The trailer park is owned by Richard Waters, Jr. with approximately 60 spaces in the park. The fire is currently under investigation.
