The Miami Trace High School tennis team hosted a Frontier Athletic Conference match against Chillicothe Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Then on Wednesday, Sept. 4, Miami Trace hosted a non-conference match with the Circleville Lady Tigers.

Chillicothe won its match, five courts to none.

Circleville defeated Miami Trace, three courts to two.

In the match against Chillicothe, Lucia Wilson lost to Bella Flores at first singles, 0-6, 0-6.

At second singles, Ava Shull lost to Judea Harding, 1-6, 2-6.

Kielyn Daughtery lost to Avery Miller at third singles, 0-6, 0-6.

Takyia Yahn and Lily Waddle lost to Kynze Bayes and Thao Nguyen at first doubles, 6-7 (4), 2-6.

At second doubles, Abbie Steele and Emma Hagler lost to Reese Miller and Mackenzie Scaggs at second doubles, 6-3, 4-6, 7-10.

In the match against Circleville, Miami Trace’s Lucia Wilson lost at first singles, 2-6, 2-6 to Marie Huggins.

At second singles, Miami Trace’s Ava Shull fell to Cora Wilson in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 3-6.

At third singles, Miami Trace’s Kielyn Daughtery defeated Olivia Riddick, 6-4, 6-0.

Miami Trace’s Takyia Yahn and Lily Waddle lost to Lily Sheets and Julia Sturgell in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 1-6.

Miami Trace’s Lynnie King and Emma Hagler beat Zanab Ansar and Angel Ezeala, 7-6 (2), 4-6, 6-0.

Miami Trace plays at Hillsboro Tuesday, Sept. 10.
