During the final day of the Scarecrow Festival in downtown Washington Court House, Branson Moody and his band opened the Sunday morning, Sept. 22, 2024 worship services with Christian songs to get the large crowd engaged in singing praises.

While the band was singing praise songs, Gee Scott and Emeka Egbuka were joining in singing and prayer before their on-stage appearance at the Scarecrow Festival Sunday morning.

Two OSU football players, Gee Scott (center) and Emeka Egbuka (right), gave testimony about how faith has impacted their life, the rough roads they traveled and their acceptance of Jesus in their lives. Jim Schmidtke (left), who has been with OSU since the 1970s, brought them to Washington Court House to be part of the Scarecrow Festival morning worship services on the main stage at South Main and East streets.
