Second Chance Center of Hope will be hosting an open house and brunch this weekend.

BRUNCH

A pancake and sausage gravy-n-biscuit brunch will be held at 420 W. Oakland Ave., by Second Chance Center of Hope, as a fundraiser. It will be this Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m to noon, with all proceeds going to benefit Second Chance and their mission. The cost is donation, no set price.

Second Chance is active in helping the community in many ways, assisting the homeless, indigent, and others, with resources to various services. They provide laundry services, meals, clothing, household goods, and outreach for community resources.

MEET THE DIRECTOR

An open house is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 6 from 1:30 p.m to 3:30 p.m to meet the director and the team, take a tour of the facility at 420 W. Oakland Ave., learn how they help the community, and help support their mission goal to better the under-served in this community. The public is invited to both these events.
