The Miami Trace High School cross country team won the Frontier Athletic Conference race held at Hillsboro High School Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024. Miami Trace had 36 placement points. Chillicothe was second with 45 points, followed by Hillsboro with 60 points and Jackson with 77 points. Washington and McClain did not have enough runners to record a team score. Gabby Maranzana of Chillicothe won in a time of 19:07. Miami Trace’s Alli Knect was third out of 43 runners in 21:08. Hillsboro’s Abbey Letts placed sixth in 21:58. Jackson’s Sylvia Peterson was eighth in 22:22. McClain’s Laura Barber was 27th in 25:14 and for Washington, Amelia Koutz was 37th in 28:45.
