Miami Trace’s Addyson Butts is FAC volleyball Player of the Year

The Frontier Athletic Conference has released its All-FAC teams for Fall sports, with the exception of football, which will be announced after the conclusion of the regular season.

Something new has been added this year.

Now in its eighth season, the FAC has added an Honorable Mention team, along with the First Team recipients.

The change was agreed to over the summer, according to a spokesperson for the conference.

The Honorable Mention teams are for sports that don’t have a league tournament.

Currently, the sports of golf and cross country have league tournaments, the other sports do not.

Senior Addyson Butts of Miami Trace was named the FAC’s Player of the Year. Miami Trace has a program best record of 22-1 heading into its tournament match at Sheridan Thursday night.

Aubrey Arnold of Jackson and Aidan Fischer of Chillicothe were the Players of the Year in golf.

Gabby Maranzana of Chillicothe and Corbin Winkle of Hillsboro were the respective Runners of the Year for cross country.

Bella Flores of Chillicothe was the FAC’s tennis Player of the Year.

Chillicothe High School’s Kiera Archer and Carter Dunfee were Players of the Year in soccer.

Washington High School’s Faith Wynne and Miami Trace High School’s Emily Reeves were named First Team, All-FAC in golf.

Miami Trace’s Alli Knecht, Karleigh Cooper and Kamika Bennett are First Team, All-FAC in cross country.

Cambry Brown and Kate Bailey of Washington and Ava Shull of Miami Trace are First Team, All-FAC in tennis.

Kielyn Daugherty of Miami Trace is Honorable Mention in tennis.

In addition to Addyson Butts, Sydney Carter and Kylie Yeazel of Miami Trace are First Team, All-FAC in volleyball.

Maggi Wall of Washington is First Team, All-FAC in volleyball.

Cecilia Robinson of Miami Trace is Honorable Mention in volleyball.

Hailey Webster, Karleigh Cooper and Isabelle DeBruin of Miami Trace are First Team, All-FAC in soccer.

Calee Ellars of Washington is First Team, All-FAC in soccer.

Miami Trace’s Landon Burns is First Team, All-FAC in soccer.

Ian Mavis and Andrew Trout of Miami Trace are Honorable Mention in soccer.
