WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — On Wednesday, Little Caesars Pizza at the corner of Court and Hinde streets opened for business with a new owner and a fresh store.

The new franchise owner went through several health department steps to get approved after a complete overhaul of the interior of the building. The Washington Fire Department conducted its safety inspection and they received their permit to open for business.

Arthur Call, son of city councilwoman Sylvia Call, has a passion for Little Caesars pizza. Arthur is on the autism spectrum, and after school Wednesday, he received his favorite cheese pizza compliments of new owner Vikram Singh.

Little Caesars corporate business consultant, Aaron Teakell, was at the store to assist in its grand opening. The new employees went through a training day session on Monday, and the store was busy Wednesday afternoon, according to Singh.

The first day was a limited menu of pizzas and wings, as the new crew gears up for the full menu and the variety of new items by the weekend. The pizza shop opens at 11 a.m daily.
