FAYETTE COUNTY, Ohio — Three people were airlifted to area trauma centers Saturday night following a two-vehicle crash involving entrapment at the intersection of State Route 41 and Miami Trace Road, according to Fayette County Sheriff Vernon Stanforth.
Local firefighters extricated the individuals from the vehicles before they were transported.

At around the same time on Saturday, a second possible injury accident was reported on White Oak Road. According to Stanforth, a single vehicle rolled, causing significant damage to the vehicle. The driver and possible occupants reportedly fled the scene prior to the arrival of deputies.
Stanforth said deputies are attempting to identify and locate those involved in the accident.
Also throughout the weekend, there were several deer-related crashes that caused minor injuries and significant damage to the vehicles, Stanforth said.
