The Fayette County Senior Poultry judging team comprised of (l-r) Robbie Bennett, Kamika Bennett, Emma Eggleton, and Annabelle Eggleton received 1st place at this past weekend at the Ohio State Fair Poultry Judging contest. The team judged live birds, market birds, market eggs grading, and oral reasoning interviews.
The first-place senior team will represent Ohio in the national 4-H contest held in conjunction with the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) in Louisville, KY this November.
Team and individual awards were sponsored by the Ohio Poultry Association, the Ohio Egg Marketing Program, the Ohio Chicken and Turkey Marketing Program, and the Ohio State Fair.
