According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:
July 18
Criminal Damaging: At 2:23 a.m., officers responded to Green Valley Road in reference to a vehicle that had been damaged by an unknown person or persons.
Criminal Damaging: At 8:21 a.m., a Clemson Plaza resident reported that an unknown person caused damage to her vehicle.
Breaking and Entering: At 10:21 a.m., an East Market Street resident reported that an unknown person broke into his garage and removed items without consent.
Criminal Damaging/Breaking and Entering/Theft: At 7:07 p.m., a Tennessee resident was arrested after he gained access to a room at the Days Inn and caused damage to the room, the renter’s property, and stole items from the room.
July 17
Criminal Trespass: At 9:53 a.m., a male was arrested after being found sleeping in a classroom at the Washington Middle School. He had entered the school overnight through an unlocked door.
