According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 5

Burglary: At 8:12 a.m., employees of BidFTA on Lakeview Avenue reported that an unknown offender broke in and stole various items.

Aug. 4

Breaking & Entering/Theft: At 3:33 a.m., police responded to UDF, located at 1710 Columbus Ave., for an alarm. When officers arrived, the front door was found to be damaged. Through the investigation, it was discovered that subject(s) entered the store and stole merchandise.

Assault: At 9:38 p.m., a Grace Street male was arrested for assault after an altercation at the Blue Stone Hotel.

Theft: At 3:39 p.m., an East Temple Street resident reported the theft of his mower.

Aug. 3

Disturbance/Underage Consumption: At 10:38 p.m., police responded to 432 6th St. in reference to a male causing a disturbance who had been consuming alcohol while being under 21. Officers located the male and confirmed that he was under 21 and had been consuming alcohol. The male was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol. Officers later learned that during the disturbance, he assaulted a household member. Bryson Smith was arrested and charged with underage alcohol consumption and domestic violence.

Aug. 2

Theft: At 10:44 p.m., an employee of UDF, located at 1710 Columbus Ave., reported that several males entered the store and stole several cans of alcohol. The subjects were not identified, and a report was taken.
