On Tuesday, Aug. 20, Washington, Miami Trace and Wilmington made their way to The Greens Golf Course of Fayette County to compete in a boys golf match.
It was a very close contest, but the Panthers would emerge victorious with a team score of 184, followed by the Blue Lions with a 185 and the Hurricane with a 188.
Individually for Miami Trace, Carter Davidson led with a 45, followed by Gage Bowers and Gabe Carson each with a 46, Cade Whitaker with a 47, Gavin Cottrill with a 48 and Gavin Baughn with a 57.
Individually for Washington, Will Miller led with a 44, followed by Logan Clevenger with a 45, Bryson Heath with a 47, Sam Lotz with a 49, Cooper Robertson with a 51 and Shane Crago with a 52.
Individually for Wilmington, Gunnar Martin was the match medalist and led the team with a 39, followed by Brody Reynolds with a 46, Colin Wood with a 50, Hunter Holbert with a 53 and Alex Huesca with a 62.
