Miami Trace volleyball beats Jackson in 3 sets

JACKSON — The Miami Trace High School volleyball teams visited Jackson High School for play in the Frontier Athletic Conference Tuesday, Aug. 27.

The Lady Panthers began defense of back-to-back conference titles with a 3-0 win.

Scores of the sets were: 25-9, 25-11 and 25-14.

Statistically for Miami Trace, Addyson Butts led with 19 kills and five ace serves.

Lauren Farrens had five kills and two ace serves and Kylie Yeazel had 33 set assists and three ace serves.

The Miami Trace j-v team beat Jackson, 25-9, 25-14.

Miami Trace (3-0 overall, 1-0 FAC) is slated to host Chillicothe Thursday with the j-v match starting at 6 p.m.
