Miami Trace girls soccer defeats Madison Plains, 10-0

MADISON COUNTY — The Miami Trace High School girls soccer team visited Madison Plains High School for a non-conference match on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The Panthers won the match, 10-0.

Miami Trace led 6-0 at the half.

Karleigh Cooper had the hat trick (three goals scored) to lead the Panthers.

Marian Mara scored two goals, Nora Morrison scored two goals Emma Eggleton and Emma Hoppes each scored one goal and there was an own goal (an accidental score by the team on defense).

Miami Trace took a record of 3-2-0 overall, 0-2 in the FAC into its conference match at McClain Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The Panthers will host FAC opponent Hillsboro Thursday at 7 p.m.
