Miami Trace High School’s volleyball team closed in on a third consecutive Frontier Athletic Conference title with a home win over the McClain Lady Tigers Thursday, Sept. 26.
Miami Trace won 25-11, 25-4 and 25-13.
In the match, Miami Trace senior Sydney Carter surpassed 1,000 digs for her career. She had seven digs and seven serve receive.
Also for Miami Trace, Addyson Butts had 18 kills and two ace serves.
Lauren Guess had eight kills, six solo blocks and three ace serves.
Miami Trace (8-0 FAC, 16-1 overall) will play at Hillsboro Tuesday. Hillsboro is 6-2 in the FAC, 11-4 overall.
