As fall sports are beginning to wrap up across the state, the OHSAA tournament draws took place on Sunday, Oct. 6 for boys and girls soccer and volleyball. The following is information regarding where the teams in the Frontier Athletic Conference will begin postseason play for those three sports:
Boys Soccer
In the DIII Southeast District, Miami Trace is seeded eighth and will host ninth-seeded Circleville on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. The winner of that contest will travel to Marietta to take on the top-seeded Tigers on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m.
Jackson is seeded fifth and will travel to Warren to take on the fourth-seeded Warriors on Oct. 17 at 6 p.m.
Chillicothe is the two seed and will host the winner of seven seed Fairfield Union and 10 seed Sheridan. The Falcons and Generals play on Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. with the game at Chillicothe taking place on Oct. 17 at 6 p.m.
Hillsboro is the sixth seed and will travel to three-seed Athens on Oct. 17 at 6 p.m.
McClain is in the DIV Southeast District and is seeded 13th. They will travel to fourth-seed Zane Trace on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7:45 p.m.
Girls Soccer
In the DIII Southeast District, Miami Trace is seeded seventh and will host 10 seed Washington on Monday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. The winner will travel to Athens on Wednesday to take on the number-two seed in Athens at 6 p.m.
Chillicothe is the three seed and will host sixth seed Warren on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m.
Jackson is the five seed and will travel to Marietta to take on the fourth-seeded Tigers on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m.
McClain and Hillsboro are in the DIV Southeast District.
The Lady Indians are the four seed and will host 13 seed Piketon on Oct. 14 at 6 p.m.
The Lady Tigers are the three seed and will host the winner of six seed Fairland and 11 seed New Lexington. That game will take place on Oct. 14 at 6 p.m., with the game at McClain beginning at 6 p.m. on Oct. 16.
Volleyball
In the DIII Southeast District, Miami Trace is the three seed and will host six seed Chillicothe on Monday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
Washington, Hillsboro, Jackson and McClain are in the DIV Southeast District.
Washington is the 12 seed and will travel to Gallia Academy on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. to take on the five seed Blue Angels.
Hillsboro is the seven seed and will host 10 seed McClain on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
Jackson is the 11 seed and will travel to six seed Alexander on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
