According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 13

Domestic Violence by Threats: At 3:41 p.m., officers responded to Depot Drive in reference to a domestic violence incident. After speaking with both parties, a male was arrested and charged with domestic violence by threats.

Oct. 11

Trespassing: At 12:29 a.m. while on patrol, an officer located two subjects behind Ohio Thrift, located at 100 Washington Square. Both subjects had previously been informed by officers they were not allowed behind the business or in the dumpster. Both subjects were arrested. Amber Bradshaw and Courtney Lyons were charged with trespassing.

Child Endangerment: At 10:18 a.m., the police department was contacted by an employee with Fayette County Children Services. The employee requested assistance at 420 Forest St. The employee was given information that several juveniles were living in deplorable conditions. Officers went to the residence with the Children Services employee and did find the house in deplorable condition. Alexander and Abigail Whaley were charged with child endangerment.

Theft: At 10:52 a.m., officers responded to Walmart, located at 1397 Leesburg Ave., in reference to a theft. During the investigation, information was given to officers that a female departed the store on two occasions and did not pay for merchandise. Jordan Christ was charged with theft.

Disturbance/Underage Consumption of Alcohol: At 11:49 p.m., officers responded to 741 Linden Ave. in reference to a disturbance and underage persons consuming alcohol. Officers arrived and spoke with the resident, Haven McGraw. During the investigation, several subjects under the age of 21 were located inside the residence. Several subjects under the ages of 21 and 18 were found to have consumed alcohol. McGraw was arrested for providing a place for underage consumption to take place. Trevaughn Jackson and Kyler Leath-Brown were arrested for consuming alcohol while being under 21. Two females, ages 16 and 17, along with a 16-year-old male, were charged with underage alcohol consumption.

Oct. 10

Criminal Damaging: At 9:53 a.m., an officer responded to 312 6th St. in reference to a vehicle that had been damaged. An officer arrived and spoke with the owner. He advised that sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) punctured his vehicle tires, causing damage. A report was taken.

Telephone Harassment: At 10:24 p.m., a male reported that a known female has been contacting him and has been told to stop. An officer spoke with the male and with the female, informing her to cease contact with the male. The female chose to continue to contact him. Sarah Schell was charged with telephone harassment.

Oct. 9

Criminal Damaging: At 12:33 a.m., officers responded to 722 Pearl St. in reference to a fight complaint. After officers arrived, it was learned that a Facebook post had led to the altercation between adults. During the incident, a cell phone was damaged. The owner of the cell phone requested that a report be taken for the damaged phone.

Assault: At 8:34 a.m., police responded to 706 E. Paint St. in reference to a disturbance complaint. During the investigation, it was learned that the victim was allegedly assaulted. A report was taken and the victim was referred to the city solicitor for the filing of charges.
