Jeffersonville Pool now open for the summer

JEFFERSONVILLE — The Jeffersonville Public Pool is now open and ready for a summer filled with splashing, family fun.

Bring the whole family to swim, slide and play ball at the Jeffersonville Public Pool from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday – Saturday and 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Sundays. The pool features a double slide, a diving board, a closed off kiddie pool, and a basketball court for out-of-the-water fun.

Free community pool parties will also be held at the Jeffersonville Public Pool. On June 27, July 25, and Aug. 8 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., all will be welcome to swim and eat for free. Summer activities like basketball, cornhole, kickball, volleyball, and great music will be included at the pool parties.

Walk-ins are $7 a person, with the exception of age 2 and under, and non-swimmers which are free. Memberships are a quick and easy way to save money for regular swimmers. A family of four will be $200 with $10 add-ons, a double membership will be $175, and a single membership is $150 per year.

The pool will also be available to rent out from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. for parties and more. To rent for less than 100 guests from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., it will be $150, or go to 10 p.m. for a $50 up-charge. For more than 100 guests, it will be $250 with the option to add an extra hour for $50. For over 150 guests, the rent will be $350 or $400 to stay until 10 p.m.
